Upon impact, the pedestrian was ultimately “thrown” and landed in the northbound lane of the road. The driver of the vehicle that hit the pedestrian is reported to have pulled over and attempted to help the pedestrian who had been hit. However, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriffs investigating the case, it appeared that the driver of the car that hit the pedestrian was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
