Ween Acevedo is a passionate and dedicated criminal defense and immigration. With a strong belief in second chances and the importance of fair justice, Ween provides strategic, compassionate legal representation to individuals facing a wide range of criminal charges and Immigration issues.
Born in Costa Rica and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska, Ween’s journey to law was shaped by her early involvement in youth court, where she advocated for minors exposed to the criminal justice system. In 2008, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dreams of becoming a lawyer. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of West Los Angeles.
Since her admission to the California Bar, Ween has built her career on a foundation of empathy, preparation, and relentless advocacy. She has over 20 years in immigration experience which uniquely positions her to help clients facing criminal charges with immigration consequences, ensuring they achieve results with no immigration impact.
Known for her honest, down-to-earth approach, Ween is committed to making her clients feel seen, heard, and supported throughout the legal process. She is relentless in her pursuit of the best possible outcome, fighting tirelessly no matter the odds.
When she’s not in court or meeting with clients, Ween enjoys spending quality time with her family and her two dogs and cat, who remind her of the values of loyalty, patience, and humor.
